Burns & McDonnell, a leading engineering and construction firm, is expanding its IT team with an exciting opportunity for an Associate Observability Engineer in Kansas City. As part of our Information Technology group, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining observability solutions that provide deep insights into our complex systems and applications. This position involves working closely with development, operations, and infrastructure teams to proactively identify and resolve issues, ensuring high availability and performance across our enterprise environment.
Your responsibilities will include instrumenting applications with metrics, logs, and traces; setting up alerting and dashboarding; and contributing to the evolution of our observability strategy. You'll leverage modern tools to create a unified view of system health, supporting our mission-critical Projects in energy, infrastructure, and beyond.
