• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degrees preferred
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps practices with a focus on security (DevSecOps)
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including security configurations
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
• Expertise in infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform or Ansible, with security scanning integration
• Familiarity with security tools such as SonarQube, OWASP ZAP, and vulnerability management systems
• Hands-on experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash) and version control (Git)
• Understanding of compliance standards like NIST, FedRAMP, or DoD security requirements
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Security certifications such as Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS) or AWS Certified Security - Specialty are a plus
