As the Platform Engineering Manager at McKesson, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technological foundation that supports our global healthcare logistics and pharmaceutical distribution network. Reporting to the Director of Engineering, you will oversee a team responsible for developing and maintaining robust, scalable platforms that ensure seamless operations across our supply chain ecosystem.

Your responsibilities will include architecting cloud-native solutions, implementing automation for infrastructure as code, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team. You will collaborate closely with product managers, data scientists, and security specialists to integrate platform capabilities that enhance data analytics, API management, and microservices deployment.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's preferred
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering with at least 3 years in platform engineering or infrastructure roles
• Proven leadership experience managing engineering teams of 5+ members
• Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, IaC (Terraform, Ansible), and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
• Experience with healthcare IT standards (HIPAA, FHIR) is highly desirable
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
