Magnite is seeking an experienced Staff Engineer to lead the development of robust backend APIs for our cutting-edge digital advertising platform. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 5 years focused on backend development
• Strong proficiency in Java or Python, with experience building RESTful and GraphQL APIs
• Expertise in database design and optimization using SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB/Cassandra)
• Familiarity with microservices architecture, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
• Proven track record of leading backend Projects, mentoring junior engineers, and driving performance improvements
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in agile environments
