Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits, a leading distributor of beverage alcohol, is seeking a visionary Vice President of DevSecOps & Automation Engineering to spearhead our technology transformation. In this executive role, you will oversee the integration of security into every phase of the development lifecycle, fostering a culture of automation and continuous improvement. Reporting directly to the CIO, you will architect scalable infrastructure, champion secure coding practices, and lead initiatives to reduce deployment times while mitigating risks.

Key responsibilities include developing and executing a multi-year roadmap for DevSecOps practices, mentoring senior engineering teams, and partnering with business units to align technology solutions with organizational goals. You will drive the adoption of advanced tools for infrastructure as code, automated testing, and threat detection, ensuring our platforms remain robust against evolving cyber threats. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, or software engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Proven expertise in automation tools, CI/CD pipelines, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
• Strong knowledge of security practices, compliance standards (e.g., SOC 2, GDPR), and secure coding methodologies
• Experience leading large-scale engineering teams and managing budgets in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer are a plus
